Have fun with Rubber Bands!

Margerita Mileva, a New York- Based, Bulgarian Born artist has begun to create fashion clothing and accesories with spare office stationery.

The 49 year old artist painstakingly twists and knots elastic bands to make each 10 kilogram piece of clothing- that's a staggering 90 hours worth of work!

Mrs Mileva has been noted to say that she 'likes to create conversation openers' and she 'feels like she is painting using rubber bands' when she is constructing these one of a kind garments.

It doesn't stop there either, she has also taken to making necklaces and other fashion accessories from reused paper clips and punched business cards.

What a way of disposing of any spare office statonery- sure beats having it all laying around in a drawer in our book!

  5. I always loved seeing those big rubber band balls at the office. For something so simple it really works. It doesn't hurt that it is fun to play with too.

  6. When I was still a child, I remember collecting rubber bands of varied colors. I connect them together by creating a loop until it gets long enough to become a jumping rope. Hahaha! I agree, rubber bands can bring fun!
